School Hours: 8:20 a.m. - 3:20 p.m.

• School opens at 8:00 a.m. for students to get their breakfasts.

• All other students are encouraged to arrive at school no earlier than 8:05 a.m. and no later than 8:20 a.m.

• Students are dismissed after announcements at 3:20 p.m.

School Visits

We welcome volunteers!  Research has proven that the more involved and active parents are in their child's education, the more likely children will be to reach their full potential.  For safety, no matter what the reason for your visit, please stop by the office first to pick up a visitor or volunteer badge after you have signed in at the chrome book in the vestibule. This identification must be worn while you are at Westhoff.

If you would like to visit the classroom, please speak with your child's teacher first.  Conferences should also always be scheduled ahead of time rather than trying to talk with the teacher when he or she has class.  This will help protect valuable instruction time. 

Please sign up online or call by 10:00, anytime you would like to come to eat a school lunch with your child on the parent lunch sign-up. 

School volunteers are always appreciated.  Teachers often seek and utilize parent volunteers.

It is the Fort Zumwalt School District's policy to require background checks on all parent volunteers.  If you plan to volunteer during the school year, please see our office for the necessary forms.  Background checks must be completed before volunteering.  Please be sure to allow enough time to complete the forms and have the check completed prior to the dates you plan to volunteer.
